VMWare Workstation
I have been browsing around the net for a couple of days now and since i am new to this i cannot simply pick, download and hope for the best as it might bust my system or something.
I would like to know, if anyone here has done it and was successful doing it, how can i run mac in VMWare Workstation? i have heard about the hack version but where to start i do not know, so if anyone knows a good method of getting this up and running without a huge amount of tweaks etc please share this with me, i doubt i am the only one that's interested in know about this and yes it is possible, the short answer would be no, but it is possible i would just like a guideline from someone who has done this and was successful in it.

Re: VMWare Workstation
I found some images around (KickAss Torrents, maybe?) and I got it running on my computer. I did not like it, so I only played with it for a few minutes, maybe a couple of hours max?

Re: VMWare Workstation
Hi,
I actually did this a little while back, using a TPB image (if I'm not mistaken). Just load the image in VMWare and install the OS, that was all I did. It's even updateable.
The only thing I had to do was double-click a little executable file to make everything run faster. (And set it to auto-start with the Mac, so it's always smooth)
Everything works fine so far. I can't tell the name of that little tool, because my VMWare is currently unreachable.

Re: VMWare Workstation
I remember it was easy to get to the "Mac Desktop", but anything further from that was a nightmare... It's like they designed the interface for people who do not care where their files are stored, neither want to do "advanced" things like installing pirated software...Admin wrote:Hi,

It made me remember of iPhones :p
They make those tools in a way that makes using "stuf for free" harder and, if something goes wrong with your machine or files, no problem, just "go to the closest apple store" and give them more money!
I will try, someday, maybe, perhaps... to run it again. Who knows?
Meanwhile, I will stay with Windows, at least until they allow me to install whatever I want and do not force me into using any kind of "app market" or "fully automatic tools" that will "think for me". I only have two neurons in my moronic brain, but they are still working partially well, so far
VMWare is always awesome, though! I love virtual machines!!!
