it is a minecraft like game with a lot of players and servers.
and it run without java ,and it run faster and better.

I'll give it a try although I'm not expecting much. It'll probably suck, and if it doesn't suck Microsoft will probably take it down.

and yep the default texture look bad (minecraft textures are proprietary), everybody use texture pack in this game, personally I like to use "HDX Textures (16 - 512 px)by VanessaE" or "Sphax TestBDcraft by ashenk69".



and I must add minetest it is not a game in the traditional way it is a simplified game engine , after installing it , you must install a Subgame .
 for some examples I could mention :
  - minetest game(the default one).
  - big freaking dig.
  - carbone.
  -mineclone(the most Minicraft like Subgame).
  - overcraft origins.
  - Voxelgarden.



and if you feel like it, and you want to create your own game , it is easy download few mods Tinker with them have fun the sky is the limit.
by the way when you enter a server, the game will install all what you need (Subgame/ mods)you don't need to do anything.

No I haven't. What does it matter? Game looks like Minecraft but runs worse, what's so hard to understand?

you should try to change some options ,to see what works best for you ,in my experience it is stable and run faster then Minecraft ,and with a little effort look exactly like it.
I am asking what happened with you to say something like that ???
