Help Please.
Seriously, I have exhausted every avenue on trying to fix this game I have ran into every error mention in any of these forums and have done everything instructed to do. Now nothing is happening with my game when I go to play it origin pops up asking me to sign in and hen nothing the game doesn't load I don't get an error message just nothing at all. I really upset because I'm constantly asking for help and never get an answer.
The part I don't understand is that when I simply install the base game everything works perfectly I don't have to move the folder or anything but who just wants the base game when its so much other fun things to do with the Sims 4. The second I try to add the expansions packs is when I run into problems and I don't understand why, I have literally tried every suggestion that you guys have offered and still come up with nothing.
Please Please I know you guys have personal lives ,but could some help me figure this out.

Re: Help Please.
No worries girl i've had that same issue too, it turns out that the "Origin" login isn't even suppose to show up. After about 1-2 days of trying to get this to install correctly I understand the unbelievable frustration your probably feeling right now! As i've found out there's not one specific guide that will completely solve an issue, but a couple of them that help little by little until finally you get your game up! You've already viewed a bunch so most or all of the guide's i'll list are probably things you've already tried, but try doing it in this order now and it might work out! This is just had worked for me and I really hope it works for you too !
(I just want to help as much as I can since the guys that made this probably have no idea how to fix certain issues at this point, with everyone's computer situation being different n' all.)
Here's what I did:
1. First reinstall Sims the way this guy does it here: https://youtu.be/CBHwvwaE2TM
That should remove the Origin login part (the video isn't specifically made for that reason but it ended up helping me with that anyway!) The reinstall should only take about 10 mintues, no worries!
2. If it still doesn't work out after that and you get an error message, view this topic: https://games4theworld.forumotion.com/t20396-unable-to-start-the-contents-of-your-user-data-directory-were-created-by-a-newer-version-of-the-sims-4
or this one: https://games4theworld.forumotion.com/t19191-unable-to-start-origin-is-currently-not-running-alternative-solutions (atleast one of them should help).
3. After that try opening Sims again, if it doesn't automatically start working then download a VPN (Cyberghost specifically), and connect.
4. Open Sims again and it should work now!
I have no idea how the VPN configures the files to make things work...I made this discovery by accident but i'm surely glad it worked out! My game has been working totally fine since then and I hope you'll be able to say the same!

Re: Help Please.
Hi, @MsEricka! The VPN solution should be the last one you could try, since it's the least likely to fix your game (and I don't think you will really need it), but there are some VPN services around that are free (with or without limitations), you can google around...

Re: Help Please.
You can download Cyberghost here: http://www.cyberghostvpn.com/en_us
That's the only VPN i'm really familiar with, it lets you browse for free so no worries. I don't know how likely it is to work on a mass scale, all I know is that it worked for me xD So it may work for you. Did you redownload the game the way the guy in the video does? If you did, are you still getting the Origin login popup?

Re: Help Please.
I'm still not having any luck with anything at all. I guess I just give up and play the base game until I can afford to go out and buy the game myself, but thanks for all the help.
