Update Problem in windows 10

Hi guys

Please provide me a solution with windows 10 update
I am having graphics driver Radeon 6490M but windows update is overriding it to 7400M series each time i am getting connected to internet
Please provide a permanent solution for not allowing this update for my graphics driver
I have tried this option but its not working :  Advanced System Settings -> Hardware -> Device Installation Settings -> Never install driver software from windows update

Please suggest some solution

Can you kindly provide your exact laptop brand and model here?
And how exactly do you know that the 6490M driver is overridden by the 7400M series driver?

My laptop is hp dv6119tx with windows 10 os

I came to know that the driver is overriden by following steps :
Right click on my computer -> Properties -> Device Manager -> Display Adapters ->
then there it is shown radeon 7400M driver installed by windows 10 update

Each time, i need to uninstall the driver 7400M installed by update and then again install radeon 6490M

Please suggest something

gpedit.msc in not in windows 10 which is mentioned in above solution
actually, i already tried above steps, i changed the connection to metered connection,
then only for that particular wifi, no download occurs but when i connect to different wifi(the one which i have not set as metered connection) then again it downloads the driver

Please provide any solution for this, my OS is Windows 10
