If this photo that I just shared on my twitter doesn't trend, I don't know what can... So sad, I hope I have a solution to "unruin" my dashboard

My beloved FIAT MAREA's dashboard is ruined, is there any kind of tea I can use to fix that, dear @Admin??? Please save me!
Why did I use that dumb gift BuyInCoins gave to me (when I bought some other stuff, of course), I never even put anything on it, I just liked it because it was pink!!!

There are chemicals which you could give a try, like Acetone. Take that advice with caution though, and whatever chemical you want to use in the end: make sure that you take a tiny sample of the chemical at first, and try it in a place on the dashboard that is not easy visible. For example somewhere on the edges of the dashboard.
After applying the sample, wait a while. Does the chemical appear to ruin the dashboard even more ? Then don't use it. If it does not do any harm, feel free to give it a full go.
Note: I'm not an expert in the field of car-cleaning, and I don't know if Acetone is the right thing in your case. But the general guideline is that if you use aggressive chemicals, you need to be very careful.

I will also try some advice I found on YouTube that says freezing is good (I will try to "thaw" some chicken or something else on it, since it doesn't get cold enough in Brazil and the AC won't do enough) to see if I can peel it of somehow. I hope it's not flamable, some stuff seems to be gotten "inside", which sucks.
The car is far from me, so I will count on my brother for the experiences, but thanks a lot for the idea, I would never think of acetone!!! I really need to do something, because it's on the place where the air bag thing is (well, it melted down to it).
I'll let you know when I have more news!

Well of course, you can try pouring some normal (hot/warm) tea over it and hope the plastic will melt...
Or no, maybe best to pour the tea in something else, like a strong bag or bowl (Be careful that the bag doesn't melt, LOL), and then let it sit on the melted plastic for a while. Hopefully softening the plastic makes it easier to remove.

But like Carlos mentioned, be very careful and test everything first if you don't want to mess up the dashboard even more.

It was probably a cheap, low-quality "gift".
But... that doesn't mean that you shouldn't use good-quality ones, because these things are usually made to last on a car dashboard.

I usually use alcohol to clean/remove stuff (like sticker leftovers), but I doubt that it'd work in your situation. Looks like a very thick layer of hard plastic.

Yep, not sure if aggressive chemicals are the solution here. On the other hand, using mechanical tools might damage/scratch the surface of the dashboard too much.
Professional car-cleaning can indeed be a science at times. I recall an "incident" from long ago, near where I live. There was a guy who owned a Ferrari. However, that guy died of a heart-attack while seated in his car, in the garage at home. The body was not discovered until a few days later by some relative. Of course, the body was decomposing by then - and hence smelling pretty badly.
After a while, the person who found the dead body soon wanted to sell the car, because the smell & fluids (?) of the decomposing body "transgressed" onto the car seats and the interieur in general.
Allegedly, nothing they tried (not even super-aggressive chemicals) could help get rid of the smell. And they did not manage to sell that Ferrari in the end...after all, who wants to have a car in which there is this terrible smell ? Spoiled meat/fish smells bad enough, but I guess that human bodies in that condition smell even worse. Though I have no first-hand experience on that.

I guess it also depends on the surroundings. If it's warm or there is air humidity, then the process can go faster. But I don't really know much (more) about the details of that incident, as my father told me about it back then, and I didn't bother to ask more...

Yes, here in Brazil they usually bury or burn the dead on the next day they die, because it's too hot. Fancy/rich people may pay a good amount of money to keep the body in a fridge, so they can hold the ceremony to give people enough time to come.
I removed some of the melted plastic by hand (used one toilet roll when traveling to another town in my car, while my brother was driving), I will try removing more next time when I have more toilet paper. Then I will probably try some ice on it, to see if it hardens the stuff a bit.
I'll let you know when I have news (with pics), thanks a lot for the ideas!

Anyway, kerosene should take care of it, I just hope you're not a smoker. Acetone would work too, just be careful how you use that stuff unless you want a hole where your dashboard used to be. If you can't get kerosene or acetone. You could try nail polish remover, although I can't vouch for it, has a kind of "urban myth" ring to it.
OR you could take it to a repair shop. They'll rip you off but it's not really rocket science for them.
