Trouble with The Sims 2. [Answered] Empty Trouble with The Sims 2. [Answered]

Hello,
I am having trouble with the Sims 2:The Complete Collection.
I mounted the basic game (no expansions) first just to make sure it would work.
It doesn't.
The starting screen will show for a few seconds then it will shut of and an error report box will show up.
Is there any way to fix this?

Whe had a lot of arguing about this Game and we're planning to just completely swap this Download from our communities, since it's a bad torrent - I admnit - and there are a lot of problems with it. Our testers cóúld get it to work on their systems though. I also installed it fine, so I don't know what the problem is with all other people. For now, sorry, but I can't help you either.
