Get together damaged? [SOLVED]

Hi,
I followed the video and did everything right (as far as I know)
At first when I clicked on the game it didnt so anything, I reset my computer
When I clicked it again, it said there are missing or damaged files? (see pic added)

Hi! It sounds your anti virus removed/quarantined the crack. You need to exclude the right folders or disable your anti virus realtime protection, then apply the crack again.

Let's know if you got it working this way, or if you need further assistance.

I did it all again, and it still says it..
I think I'm doing something wrong with the anti virus?
I switched off the Windows Defender, according to my brother that's the only one I have on my pc?
Ugh I'm such a noob :p

Hello,

If you have any mods or custom content for The Sims 4, then please try and remove those for now. Also, are you sure that when you pasted the files of "Get together", that you replaced ALL of the existing files ? That is also very important.

In Windows 7 & Vista, please choose "copy and replace (do this for all files)". In Windows 8 & 10, select "replace files in the destination".

I deleted all my mods, and replaced everything but it still says it. I'm gonna try removing all my sims 4 stuff and re-installing it all.

I would rename your folder "The Sims 4", located in Documents\Electronic Arts, too. And yes, re-installing the games also seems a feasible option. Do keep us posted ! alien

Ugh.. it still says the same. what could I be doing wrong? The only anti virus is Windows defender and the only thing I could do was switch off the real time defence and the quarantine thing. Thanks for all the help though Smile

Did you use WinRAR for extracting the downloads of The Sims 4... ?

UGGHHH I tried another get together from ocean of games, thought maybe this one just didnt work for me.
That one says i'm missing a while bunch of .dll's. so i installed them and now it says files are missing in those .dll's.
So frustrating.

It looks like it. The date of the two old files match the start of this thread, when you started having problems.

Try to allow/restore them and see if your game works Wink

I would like to add, that if you want to use the downloads from Games4theworld, that you should ONLY use the program "WinRAR" for extracting, and nothing else. You can get WinRAR 5.21 from this site here:

Follow the included instructions regarding the install. After which you can use WinRAR for safely opening and extracting those .RAR files.

The first one,
I restored the files windows defender had put into quarantine,and tried it again but it still isn't working.
I tried to re-download everything (for like the 7th time) but it still doesn't work.
Thanks for the help I really don't get why my computer has to make this so difficult.

After you restore them you need to reapply the crack.

Hi, so i decided to try and install the base game again,
Everything went fine but when i try to start up the basegame, it says 'the contents of your userdata are created using a newer version of the sims 4 and are unable to load. Update your game through Origin to play.' And i havent been in the game, havent saved anything or done anything. soo.. what..?
