Can't install The Sims 3: Pets EP

Can't install The Sims 3: Pets EP

I double click the "Sims3EP05Setup" and let is load for 20+ minutes and when it is SUPPOSED to then launch the installer for The Sims 3: Pets, I get a WinRar dialouge box that says, "! Cannot execute "C:\Users\insertmynamehere\AppData\Local\Temp\Rar$EX81.008\The Sims 3 - Pets\Sims3EP05Setup.exe"
PLEASE HELP!
Side note: I am able to download every other EP without any error or dialogue box and play normally. & YES I have followed the "proper way to install The Sims 3" page.

Hello and welcome to the forum @gamerxgurl,
Please make an empty folder somewhere. Then open again the .RAR file of "pets" with the program WinRAR. Make sure to extract ALL contents of the .RAR, into the new folder you just made. You can mark the .RAR contents with your mouse and simply drag & drop the stuff, out into the new folder.
When that is done, navigate into said folder and re-run the setup. Good luck !
