hello there!

if by cc you mean all those hairs/outfits etc, it should show up in the 'Downloads' folder once you installed them. this may abit vague but do ask if there's something you're unsure of. Very Happy

Hello,

That depends on the CC.
There are sims3packs, which are put in the downloads folder that is mentioned above, and installed through the launcher.
There are also package files, which go into a mods folder in your Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 3 folder and don't require anything after being put there. We have a guide available here.

That's ok, no one has the mods folder by default, you can add it quite easily by following the instructions in the link I gave you before Smile
The downloadsfolder for sims3packs should be there, regardless of how you acquired your game. Never heard of a tray folder though, I doubt you need it.

Maybe it would help us if we knew what custom content exactly you are talking about, in order to assist you better in this problem. Smile  i.e. whether they are .sims3pack files or .package files. And legit Sims 3 games don't have a "Mods"-folder either, by default.
