Even Google can't help me (Iqenbofqe, Comcagn & Novuvattoh-files).
Since y'all are smart and even Google can't give me the answer to this, I thought I'd try one last time to figure out what these are.
Has anyone ever heard of this? I've tried googling the name of them, but it just says that it found absolutely nothing on the entire website. Not sure what to make of that since I can't possibly be the only person on the entire interwebz that has dealt with those. There's nothing in my Programs Folder that remotely resembles those, and when I try to delete the folder Iqenbofqe, I just get an error message saying that it can't be deleted because it's in use. The Comcagn and Novuvattoh are in my task manager but I can't end the properties. I have no clue what they could be attached too as the only thing I downloaded before they popped up, I've already deleted last month. I'm utterly confused and hoping that y'all could possibly shine some light on this.
Thank you muchez for all your hard work in advanced.
Also, I don't really know where to post this, so if this is not the right section, please move to the appropriate one. Thank you.

No. I've never played any of those.

Hello,
Look for the program "Malwarebytes Anti-Malware" (on the torrent networks, or alternatively try the G4TW version here, and the database-fix described here).
Do a scan of your entire system with the program and see if it detects anything. Just deleting those things manually will either not work at all, or if it does work, the files will be re-created later on again. That problem has to be addressed on its roots. Good luck !

Hi there,
Seems like a ghost!
I assume you can't remove the files, because the process is using them. And you can't close the process either.
Therefore I recommend using a little piece of software called "Unlocker". (Download it HERE)
After installation, right-click on the whole folder and choose "Unlocker". On the pop-up that appears, choose "Delete" from the dropdown menu.
Another pop-up will probably show up, telling you that the processes shown are blocking the removal. You should be able to select something like "Release and delete" from the dropdown menu. If possible, choose the option that also stops the processes. You might have to restart, so the files can be removed during the startup process, when the files are not yet in use.
Also make sure to run some security scans (Malwarebytes can indeed help too), preferably in Safe Mode or, even better, by booting from an anti-virus boot disc. This way Windows will never be loaded, and the anti-virus software can actually scan all the files on the HDD. This is slightly more complicated, and requires you to either burn the ISO to a disc, or convert and copy it to a USB stick. (And then boot from that disc or stick)

Re: Even Google can't help me (Iqenbofqe, Comcagn & Novuvattoh-files).
First off, thank you sooo very much for the fast responses.
I did the first part of what Admin suggested, and the files are finally gone. Next up I am in the process of downloading the anti malware that ghostman suggested and I will update this post to let y'all know how that goes.
**Edit 1**
I couldn't activate the Malwarebytes. 2 of the codes are blacklisted and the last one wasn't even recognized. So I'm using the free version to run a full scan. If nothing pops up with this one (or even if it does) I'll go to safe mode and try to rerun the program from there.

The free version of Malwarebytes should do as well, no worries. Good luck ! P.S. make sure to do a "complete scan", if possible...

Hi there,
Glad to hear you were able to remove the files! It's a start.
As for the blacklist issue, the topic Carlos linked you to should fix that: https://games4theworld.forumotion.com/t20862-malwarebytes-anti-malware-can-t-update-database-without-breaking-license-fix
If you'd like to try again, make sure to remove Malwarebytes using Your Uninstaller! Pro from www.games4theworld.org first. (Using the "Super Mode") Then restart your PC and reinstall according to the instructions in the Fix topic above. (So with internet disconnected at some points)

Re: Even Google can't help me (Iqenbofqe, Comcagn & Novuvattoh-files).
@xjessyx, I slightly edited your topic title. Not that I think it matters too much in that case, since I assume there will be millions of similar trash-files out there circulating, but who knows ? Maybe someone will (now) find this thread and can give more insight in this.
As a sidenote; even if you pay attention to what you downlaod, these things often come in other inconspicuous programs, and are installed alongside. Sadly, you'll have to use third-party security software to do the scans afterwards...
