Issues with the Create-A-Pet demo, must read! *WARNING!*

Hello everyone,

I would like to advice everyone to be careful when you consider installing the Pets demo that was released by EA yesterday.
There are many issues with it, including the possibility that your game will no longer load. Because the demo should be treated like a patch and is integrated into your game it is also incompatible with user created content, any developers will probably wait for the actual expansion pack to modify their content for compatibility.

I think we should be extra cautious since we're playing a cracked game and there's the possibility that this demo isn't compatible with a cracked game at all. Therefore my advice is to wait it out until the expansionpack comes out, however tempting it may be to try the demo right now.
You can try it on a pc that doesn't have The Sims 3 installed.

i installed the demo and i can play normally the sims 3 with all expansions ( from GFTW ) , there's not problem at playing the normal game, but i have a problem whit graphics in the demo Sad

That's pretty disturbing! Hopefully those kind of issues will be fixed with the actual expansion.

But obviously not a dementor one.. hopefully EA comes up with a solution because this is probably not an issue with this version.

Please help!!!! I have followed all the instructions listed here as well as the suggested links and my game still won't work. I've also tried uninstalling everything and starting over, but no luck. Also, mine is not a problem with the graphics, but rather that it caused my game not to work anymore. I get a message saying "The Sims 3 has stopped working".

Yes I have the fix and I get about 11 seconds into live mode and it crashes.

Do you have any Custom Content and/or Mods?
