I'm so done with this, please help.

Ok basically i'm trying to install the sims 4 and the new city living expansion pack
so installing order is the sims 4 - get to work - get together - city living, right? Since ultimate fix is currently n/a, that is supposed to replace that for now? Correct me if I'm wrong

My problem is that expansion or stuff packs won't show up.
I'm on mac, i know this is a pc support but I can often apply pc instructions to my situation and usually works just fine
First it gave me this origin error and I read from mac support that I should install origin in wine wrapper
I downloaded origin.exe and installed it in wine wrapper
When I try to login, pops up this little friend: "Origin has encountered a serious problem and must close"
But I can still run the game just fine, but it is just the base game.

The sims 4 is not in electronic arts folder, i moved it to program files
My firewall is off
I do not have antivirus on my computer
Idk if I installed expansion packs correctly, I copied files from get to work and paste it to the sims 4 folder, it asked me if I want to stop, replace or merge the duplicate files. First I selected replace but then I read from forum that base game files should be kept so then I started again, from scratch, but then I selected merge which replaced some old files with new files and added files or something like that

COULD SOMEBODY BE SO NICE AND WRITE REALLY CLEAR INSTRUCTIONS WITH FRICKIN' PICTURES ON HOW TO INSTALL SIMS 4 WITH EXPANSION PACK
