Is there a way to download the Sims 3 complete collection anonymously without a VPN?

I want to download the complete collection of the sims 3 plus store content on my new computer under my university's wifi, but I want it to go undetected, or just download it in any way without getting in trouble.

Even if the university doesn't keep track of individual users, usually there is some form of limitation on bandwidth. And even if there is no bandwidth limit, what you had in mind is still dubious. The copyright holder could file a complaint against the university, who in turn could then investigate which connection/user the download came from.

Depending on the university's policies you could even be expelled.

My advice is, use a VPN if you absolutely want to download from the university network. You should do some research as well on that VPN, like

- the VPN's servers should preferably be located in a country that is *not too friendly* to the United States of America, therefore not (easily) giving away their client's information in the event of complaints.

- the VPN should be able to encrypt bittorrent-traffic.

- the VPN should not store logs, which is very closely related to point #1 above (not giving away client information even in the event of complaints).


These are the most crucial points I think. These services cost money, and for now you may be better off just using your home internet connection for torrenting.
