Late night - won't let me continue without Disc

OK - installed Generations - fine. Installed Ambitions - fine. Now I'm installing Late Night...
It asked me about the Cache - and I said Ignore, like your instructions say... then I got this:



If I press Ok, it says cannot find disc please make sure blah blah blah..

And if I press Cancel, it cancels the whole setup - can't move forward passed this point!

ANy thoughts? I'm so close to the end of this process!!

Please open the .rar file you downloaded using only WinRar, which can be downloaded from www.games4theworld.org . (If you use any other software than WinRar, like WinZip or 7-zip, the files will get messed up!)
When
you've opened the file using WinRar, select áll the files in it and
drag & drop them to a folder on your Desktop. When the extraction is
done, close the .rar file and open the folder on your Desktop.
Now,
start by reading the included "# Installation Guide.txt" and you should
be able to get the game to work yourself. Good luck!

So - the WinRar thing worked, Late Night installed...

Next problem! Downloaded the fix - in the installation guide, the first thing it says is to get the files from the Base Game folder within the RAR... (This time I definitely used WinRar and did the same as you instructed for Late Night)

There is no base game folder... the only folders in the Rar file are "#Crack" - which then leads onto a Pets and Townlife Folder... and then an "Ambitions" folder - what do I do?!

I think you have a messed up Ultimate Fix file. Could you please post a screenshot of the Fix' root.

Hmmm, you're missing like... all of the files and folders. Please re-download the Ultimate Fix and then extract the files from the .rar file to a folder on your Desktop, using the instructions I gave in my first post.

I'm SO CLOSE!

So I'm following the instructions down to a tee with the Fix - here's my newest dilemma...

Before the crack, the instructions say to refresh the game launcher and install any new updates - I refreshed it a couple of times, and no new updates were found, it told me I had the latest version...

So I came out of the launcher, and did the crack, started up the launcher - and NOW there is a new update, so I install it... well I attempt to - about 5 seconds from the end it says there is an invalid file and that the update can't be installed - then it cancels the installation and exits the launcher - I go back into launcher, the update is still waiting to be installed - same problem again!
