Sims 3 SERIOUS ERROR WHILE LOADING :(

HEY GUYS, I have a Problem with My Sims 3 Game. Whenever I'm Loading My Saved File, after the Loading, an error came up saying,
"A Serious Error Has occured while Loading Bridgeport.world, We Strongly Recommend Restarting The Application." I Have Installed WORLD ADVENTURES, AMBITIONS, LATE NIGHT, GENERATIONS and PETS. I did Googled it, Did all Suggested Solutions, Reinstalled the Game for almost 6 times =(, APPLIED THE ULTIMATE FIX,INSTALLED THE GAME PROPERLY, but the Error Keeps on Coming. PLEASE HELP ME. I've been Trying to Fix This
Problem for 3 weeks now. Sad

Hello,
A few questions come to mind.
What is your base game version?
Are you using mods/cc at all? If yes, try disabling them for the moment to see if your save game loads.

I have the same problem, I don't know what to do, whenever I save my games the files get corrupted, I don't use save & exit, btw.

Oh, sorry. I reinstalled it many times, i've tried with version 1.26 and 1.29, and i removed all costum content.

I think it happens in every neighborhood, I'v tried with Bridgeport and Apaloosa Plains

It happens to me too... Every town I try loading it says this. I have only the 4 towns which come with the game + all the expansion packs (I have no CC) and under C > Documents and settings > User Name > My Documents I don't even have a Sims 3 folder (haven't been able to play the game yet.)

I have the latest Sims 3 version 1.29 and all the EP and SP installed according to the Ultimate Fix from here. And I have lowerer my setting in game to improve supposedly performance.

What causes this problem? How can we fix it?

I don't think this has to do with performance. I'm not sure what is causing this though, I've only had an error of that type once.
Perhaps something is wrong with one of the expansions that was installed.
For those that have been able to play before, the only thing I can suggest right now is a user created mod The error trap that was designed to prevent corrupted save games. It is installed like this.
But that's obviously not going to work if you haven't been able to actually play the game and the folder you need doesn't exist yet. At which point I'd suggest letting Admin share his thoughts.

Using the base game only with the crack from the fix doesn't work, you need either one of these: Generations, Town Life Stuff or Pets. So I suggest installing the other expansions and applying the crack again, its up to you whether or not to try installing Pets with that, but you should be able to get the game to work.

Using the base game only with the crack from the fix doesn't work, you need either one of these: Generations, Town Life Stuff or Pets. So I suggest installing the other expansions and applying the crack again, its up to you whether or not to try installing Pets with that, but you should be able to get the game to work.

But after I install generations,town life stuff or pets i need to update the game to 1.29 to apply the fix right?

Not necessarily, you could install Pets which updates the game to 1.26 and use the Pets crack.
But I'm not convinced its the patch that's causing these problems, since your problem started after installing Pets.

Another The sims 3 Error: IT cuts off mid-game and stays on a black screen for about 5 minutes. Goes to a blue screen saying this program has crashed your graphics card. (ON A NEW DELL 15R Laptop) and it counts down to reboot and restarts the machine and game lost. HELP!

This same problem is happening with my game as well. I had problems when I installed the sims pets, but fixed it by changing my .exe files to win 95 compatibility and turning DEP off. Ive tried everything posted here and updated, but the same error message pops up when i try and load a saved family, or edited neighborhood. Neighborhoods I haven't edited will load, but the premade sims living there will not show up until I create a new family and place them.

Ok, now i installed The Sims 3 base, then Generations, then town life stuff, and then every other expansion, except pets, like they recommended here in the forums. It installed fine, but when I try to open the launcher it doesn't do anything, doesn't even give an error message. I tried going to the installation folder and opening the launcher from there and it says that my base game version isn't compatible with my current expansion. Now, i'm wondering, do I really need to install patch 1.29, or is there something wrong with my base game and i need to download it from other site? I really don't know, I think I did everything right, after installing i used the crack from the fix.

Did you try clicking TS3W in the program files bin? I had the same problem and the game loaded without the launcher that way... Im still getting the same error once im in the game though.

Yes, when i clicked in TS3W was when it gave me that error.
No, I installed it without any patches, shall I install patch 1.29 and then use the fix again? And yes, it is the most recent fix

Hello,

Well, the whole Fix is created to make it able for you to update your game to the latest version safely. If you do not update your game - it's described in one of the steps in the included "# Installation Guide.pdf" of the Fix -, the Fix is useless and won't work.
Please re-apply the Fix, but now read all the instructions very carefully, including the update step.

Ok, so I read in the instructions to use the fix with games 4 the world release of the game, so I'm gonna redownload the base game and all the expansion packs from your site, since I had downloaded them before from other site, and see if that fixes the problem.

I smell a windows update "action" (after 27/12/2011)

this append on two PC same install - auto-update OFF (all add-on except PET)

on same day, first the "sims laucher" repport error 16

i use the EXE to lauch the game and that work (for two times)

then the game report error

- files missing, re install the application to fix the problem!

dada,, nothing, same error again..

i will try to re-install all again and create image backup before proceed.

note:

in the Windows update there is Framework 4 as new and some fixes for x64 processors..

check your windows updates list from 20 to 28 december...

could be EA find a collaboration with Microsoft to reduce hack of the game!

Is just a personnel suspicion, but keep an eye on it!

if is not the Windows update then the SimsLaucher is the problem

possible she go to internet and do silent updates (try to cut it by Firewall)

also for protection i check the latest update (1.29) they include SECUROM (Paul.dll) who is check for CD..

if i install my official Sims3 CD all work good,

when i try to add any add-on, again error are generated!

that not happend under Vista (update to 8.0.152 and not pets installed)
