Fixing an out-of-order installation [SOLVED]
Hello!
I installed the base game from G4TW and the Get to Work expansion.
Then my boyfriend asked me to download City Living, and I foolishly installed it without installing Get Together first.
Now the game freezes during the loading screen or gives me the Origin error.
Can I simply download and install the Get Together expansion and the problem will be fixed?
Or do I have to install it all over again in the right order, base game included? If I do, is there a way to preserve my "save" when reinstalling, or at least the houses I had modified/built?
I already searched the forum for "order" "out of order", etc and couldn't find any thread concerning my exact situation, only people asking how to pick and choose what expansions to install, which is not what I'm asking.
Thanks in advance!

You should install Get Together and then re-install City Living.
Your Saves won't be effected but of course it won't harm making a backup first.

I'm still getting the "Origin is currently not running" error
EDIT: I think I managed to fix it by moving the folder to ProgramFiles/x86
A mod can lock the thread now. Thanks for the help!

Hi,
It is mentioned that you are to moved out your Sims 4 installation folder to Program Files(x86). I'm glad to hear that it's solved though, after moving it out.
Feel free to open a new topic in the in-game section if you have any bugs/problems later on.
Cheers!
