Games4theworld The Sims 4 Gallery - Complete Creator Collections. [UPDATED ON 23-11-2019]

Hello all!

As you may or may not have noticed, our The Sims 4 Gallery section about individual item requests had become inactive, and we therefore decided to do things differently from now on. First off, we closed the section for all new posts & threads, meaning that no new requests will be allowed. We will also - until further notice - do away with 'individual item requests' altogether until we can find a way to sort this out more efficiently.

What we will do is to provide complete item packs, sorted by Origin IDs. Note that each pack contains all creations by that specific uploader, complete as by the date mentioned in the "Last updated.txt" file, inside each pack. Now some words about the recommended usage and how we will go from here in general:

01.) Please don't post a topic in a different Forum section asking for individual items, just because you cannot post in the actual TS4 Gallery section itself. The suspension applies to the entire Forum. We will just ignore and/or delete these requests and "creator suggestions". You are more than welcome to buy the (overpriced) Sims 4 base game yourselves, if you are so eager to get hold of these items.


02.) You can e-mail me however (red button under my signature) with suggestions about Gallery-creators, that have not been added to the list yet. Note that these are just informal suggestions, and it will be up to my discretion when or if they will be uploaded here. But in case you have good ideas about creators, it could be a means of getting you more involved in things.


03.) Because we are getting messages like these from time to time: no, individual requests aren't coming back. And no, we will not be appointing any new "Sims 4 Gallery Helpers", either. See this comment for a brief explanation.


04.) I suggest you don't put everything at once in your "Tray" folders, since this will seriously lag your games. You can temporarily extract each download with WinRAR into an empty folder on the desktop (we strongly recommend using only WinRAR for extracting the downloads, and no other programs such as 7-zip). You will end up with a folder that has the name of the uploader plus the patch version that the items were downloaded with. You can now fetch the tool The Sims 4 Tray Importer to help you organize these downloads, and help you narrow down the mass of items to only the stuff that you really like; you can find a Mirror link to the tool here. Remember to keep the overall number of items in your Tray-folder not too high (no, I can't give you a more specific number, but you will notice you have too many items when it starts lagging while you scroll through your Library). A more in-depth tutorial on the Tray-Importer may follow, if needed.


05.) Once you made your selection of items, copy and paste all the individual files (.householdbinary, .blueprint, .room, .trayitem, .bpi, .hhi, .rmi & .sgi ) of your selection, into the following location. C:\Users\(your username)\Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\Tray. Note that this folder location will only show up if you start the game at least once, after installing it.


06.) And..enjoy your new Gallery-items! 


07.) Don't forget as well, the (old) items linked in the list of fulfilled TS4 Gallery Requests - while not having been updated for a while - also work in your G4TW/RELOADED games!


08.)  You can gain previews of these Gallery creations, by using the so-called online Gallery. Search for the creator(s) you are interested in, there! UPDATE: it appears that if you search for any creator, not all items show up in that online Gallery. Alternatively use the tool "The Sims 4 Tray Importer" mentioned above in step #3. Put the individual files inside the archive that you download, into your "Tray"-folder. Running the Tray Importer-tool then will give you a preview of what the items look like. Make a selection of the items you would like to play with, from there.


09.)  Each file has a version number, in its filename. This indicates the game version with which the items have been downloaded. We generally recommend, however, that your offline/CODEX-versions of The Sims 4 are always patched to the latest available version, before using these Gallery items! See the TS4 Must-Read Guide.


10.)  Also note, I do not have a "Pets"-DLC for the game. Meaning that any Pets included in the collections below will not be usable in your game. And I do not really plan on buying such a DLC either.


11.)  The   -sign indicates new Gallery creators added to this announcement, or updates to existing item collections! So be sure to check back occasionally here for new stuff (also see the topic title for the date when this post here was last edited/updated).


12.)  Final remark: because sometimes people ask about the stuff that the former "Gallery Helpers" uploaded here, while individual/singular item requests were still fulfilled. If you come across an old download link, and the download still works, then fine. But if it doesn't, please don't ask us to "fix the link". We're not doing individual/singular items anymore, and these requests will be turned down (see #1 & #3 here).
