From other tabs you've got open I guess you're using Tarac's all-in-one .iso version. Just copy content of that .iso to your hard drive, then delete the files I mentioned.

But what exactly is the problem you're having? What happens when you start the game from the .iso?

Also...in my opinion nothing is wrong with your game, at least according to the validator results. Then again...you posted this under an old thread about "unable to start - game data missing".

Are you using any script mods for TS4? If yes, can you try removing them?

@toxicab, are you still getting the "orangeemu missing" error, or "unable to start game data missing", or is it something else?

In the e-mail you mentioned something about changing the language; I may be wrong but I'm not sure if that all-in-one .iso file contains a .reg file for having the ability to change the language. Maybe @anadius can help you out there:

ok, i'll try to give more details. sorry for my ignorance and for my bad english too.


yesterday, after installing everything from the all-in-one post, i got to play by opening the "TS4_x64.exe".

after i tried to change the language to spanish by downloading something from another post i clearly misunderstood (because the file was for a "my first pet" thing), the "TS4_x64.exe" stopped working. but i got to play with the "TS4.exe" for a little bit, but it was late so i went to bed.
today i woke up and found out that that one (TS4.exe) won't work anymore because the "orangeemu64" was missing from my computer. i finally got to download those files and that error stopped showing, but now i get the "unable to start because data is missing or damaged. please repair or reinstall via origin" error.


i tried to look for help in the forum and found a post explaining somthing with the validator, and here i am.
i hope i made myself clear


i don't know it this info will change something but i have windows 8.1. i also disabled the antivirus (i think in english it's called "firewall") before i downloaded the torrent, and they're still disabled. so i don't know what did i do wrong.

i forgot to say i followed the instructions from the all-in-one post. idon't know what the script mods are. i don't think i'm using them ...

Alright, alright! Let's see what we can do. You know what I find slightly strange, it's that your validator report doesn't show anything really problematic. In my opinion.

Still, check this guide here. It's old (maybe I will try and update it, I don't know). But it shows you how to turn off Windows Defender in Windows 8.

Remember: you MUST also make sure that other antivirus programs don't target your game either. Look at what programs if any you have installed, then try playing with the options or do some research. Once you configured the "exclusions" (= folder paths or individual files that are not targeted by security software), you should re-apply the latest No-Origin-fix.

First go under where you have The Sims 4 installed. DELETE the subfolder "Game", then re-download a fresh one here:

You need the program 7-zip for unpacking this item (google it).

Place that fresh "Game"-folder inside your The Sims 4 installation, then try re-running the game. If it still doesn't work, please re-run the validator. I know it's painful and it will take more time, but thanks to @anadius we have a powerful tool at hand that can greatly help at troubleshooting.
