Lucky Palms Casino Missing.

Hello,

Let me first say that I'm really, really grateful for this site and all the work that goes into it. I know that no matter how many times I have to uninstall and reinstall Sims 3 (due to space issues, etc) you guys will always be there. 

So I'm trying out the Sims Store neighborhoods for the first time. Used Games4theworld's rar files and made a family in Lucky Palms. I definitely have the Lucky Palms town. The .sims3pack file is named LuckyPalmsDeluxe. So there should be a casino, right? But I looked and it's not there. When I go to edit the town, it's not in the list of available lots either. Went to the launcher and the casino is just showing up as the generic "cardboard box" icon. Using .sims3pack files should be a piece of cake, right? So what did I do wrong?

Unfortunately, very often it is the case that there are issues with .sims3pack files, using the default launcher. Some programs like CC Magic could help, but in this instance, CC Magic cannot install actual neighborhoods. A possible fix is here, but it is a huge hassle because you essentially have to uninstall all .sims3pack files, and re-install them.

I am having the same problem as you and I can't seem to find a solution. You said that "it worked". What worked? Uninstalling all the Sims3packs or installing the casino from the link the_gh0stm4n gave you?

Hello,

You'll have to approach these types of problems in an efficient way. Blindly un-installing and re-installing should generally be your very last resort, so what you want to do is to grab the lot for the casino, and install that one manually. Try using the launcher first, and if that fails, try CC Magic.
