Update help (Not played for more than a year already)

Hi there, I have stopped playing The Sims 4 in a while now, the one I have is version 1.31.37.1020, question is, do I need to install each of the updates, or can I just install the latest patch? I am using the G4TW version.

Generally you need just the DLC releases but there's exception with one update after Get Famous. 1.31.37.1020 is Fitness Stuff, so you need to download:
Toddlers Stuff (3.23GB)
Cats & Dogs (7.45GB)
Laundry Day Stuff (3.88GB)
Jungle Adventure (5.01GB)
My First Pet Stuff (4.36GB)
Seasons (6.24GB)
Get Famous (8.04GB)
Update 1.49.65.1020 (5.2GB)
StrangerVille (5.87GB)
Island Living (7.64GB)

In total: 56.9GB

If you want something lighter and/or you want to skip some DLCs, you can use my repack (link in signature). The same download will weight 10.8GB. Even less if you skip DLCs.

Thank you very much for this, so basically, once I downloaded the entire 10.8GB, I have everything TS4 released?

Download and install. Yes, your game will be updated to version 1.52.100.1020 and you will have all DLCs. Just make sure to read "what to download" section. Or just click on "interactive instructions" and follow them.

You always have to "set off, from where you left". So you cannot skip any of the stuff in-between. That was always the case with this guide. 

Needless to say, the longer this "game" keeps receiving updates and DLC, that list of items will be getting longer and ... yes, I suppose you can call it more unclear or overwhelming. Anadius-items will help out in this case, or even some all-in-one (though that will re-download you 30+ GB of material).
