For now, you got any ideas on how we can keep it "more alive", though? Because you know, you haven't been around here in a very long time. A lot of things have changed compared to the early 2010s, when you yourself were active on here. If you think more closely about it, you became mod on here almost a decade ago.

That's a very long time. Many people can't easily torrent anymore nowadays (without resorting to a VPN service), because they receive warning letters from their Internet Provider. The general opinion towards our activities is also a lot more negative now. Many people are also more difficult nowadays: they get angry very easily if something doesn't suit them. If I look at old posts back in your days, there were almost no 'problem users'.

But as said, I'm open to new ideas, from anyone.

P.S. oh, and if you ever manage to get in touch with that old Admin, tell him that he should get in touch with us about the old websites and social media platforms. Just point him to this Forum thread here, and he'll know what I mean.

Narong? He was a Moderator on this Forum here, in the early 2010s. Pretty much all of the old Admin's former Moderators (those with the pink name color) have left by ~ no later than the year 2012. Fast forward today, we kept SeoY and Dracos as Mods, and Sim Architect in the capacity of Developer/Entertainer. The rest were removed from the team, though I've given them a symbolic title - "retired Moderator".

Since the pink Moderators group has become defunct, I actually removed their Mod permissions a little while ago. In the event anybody should really "make it" to the pink usergroup from here on out, mod permissions will be assigned individually, and only for certain parts of the Forum.

I looked around a bit, and I've counted at least 6 or 7 of these "former Moderators", which I find quite a large number for a small Forum like G4TW.

If there had been a clearly-defined purpose for each of them it wouldn't be so much of an issue. But here's the thing, the majority of these people were essentially personal friends of the old Admin, and didn't really do much to deserve their rank/title.

And you can rest assured @Narong30: if G4TW ever goes down, it's not going to be my fault, nor anybody else's on the current G4TW team.
