Post by Guest Tue 10 Mar 2020, 07:34

Hi! I dont usually post here but recently i went to get the new updates beyond university as per usual, I follow the older method with removing the game folder, etc. all that stuff, I have done it for awhile now, Well this time after getting tiny living stuff and the patch after that everytime I try to launch the game it keeps saying "origin seems to be running, unable to communicate with orange" does anyone know what thats about? And how I can fix it?

Hello @Abandon3dRain,

I moved your topic to the right section. Smile  May I ask if you remember, what the last functioning TS4 update/DLC was, that you managed to get working, on that particular computer? Was it a recent DLC? You mentioned something about University, but I don't know.

Did you do the fix in the past, about turning off "Virtualization" in your BIOS settings? Also try this here:

Control Panel => Programs => Programs and Features => Turn Windows features on/off. Unmark the "Hyper-V" box, if it's not unmarked already. Re-boot the PC and try again.

I believe that for some mysterious reason I also get the same error immediately after applying a new update. I usually wait 10-15 seconds, restart the game with the .exe, and then it works from then on. I have an AMD-based system, not sure if that plays a role/if Intel-based systems work differently in that regard.

Good luck!
