sims 3 probs

Hi there, im having problems with the Sims 3, ive followed all your steps for the game freezing, ive reinstalled, deleted all cc, basically ive done everything i have found on the internet, and its still freezing, but only on 3 out of 8 games i have been playing. The rest of the games are working fine. not sure what else to try really. my pc is brand new, ive double checked all the system requrements just in case but my pc is way over whats required. ive fiddled with my Nvidia graphics card, settings, im a bit lost as to what else to do. any advice would be most appreciated.

When you say it works fine for 3 out of 8 games, are you talking about your save games? If so you may have a corrupted save game. It happens sometimes when saving. The best work around I have found for this is to open the save game, then after the saved game loads, re-save the game using the Save As option and making a minor change to the name (i.e. Saving a Starlit Shores save game as Starlit Shores II). After it saves, exit the game completely and restart it, then select the new save game to play. Once you see if that fixed the crashing you can delete the first save game.

If its Expansion or Stuff pack related (3 out of 8 working) then the links Admin provided should help.

thanks guys im going through your advice now and doing everything again to see if it works. Yea Dracos66 its my save games so im going to rename them now and see how it goes.
