Starlight Shores Error. [SOLVED]

Hello,
I've been having an issue with Starlight Shores not loading, what it will do is load and then when the city is supposed to show up it just comes up as a white map with no buildings, trees, grass, etc. When installing the game I had an error pop up saying that the Starlight Shores file with the installer was not the right file... and gave me the choices to ignore, retry, or quit the installation after clicking retry a couple time clicked ignore. Loaded the game is this is when the town wouldn't load so I decided to try to uninstall the expansion and reinstall and this time around there was no error about the installation of Starlight Shores but when the town loads I still get the same thing the white map with no buildings... anyone else have this issue?? Any ideas on how to fix it??

I've removed all mod's from the system and still no luck with it.

Yep, just downloaded it about 2 hrs ago. 
Never had any issues with any of the Sims game from games4theworld so hoping it was a issue with something i did xD

Hello,
Please go to: My Documents\Electronic Arts
You'll see a folder called "The Sims 3". Drag & drop that folder to your Desktop and remove it from your Documents\Electronic Arts.
Now, start the game and let us know the result.

Figured out the problem, running it in compatibility mode fixed... And if anyone is wanting to run it on Windows 8 Consumer Preview it works by running it in windows 7 compatibility mode.
