The Sims 3 Complete runs like crap... tips? [CLOSED]
So I have The Sims 3 and all Expansion / Stuff packs (except Katy Perry Tasteless Crap) aaaand... it runs like crap. The frame rate is low but my main issue is the camera being delayed in buy and build mode (sometimes even by up to five seconds), especially in Create a Style. If I have to take a blind guess I'd say it's memory related.
PC Specs and game info:
-Intel Core i5-661 3.33 GHz (2 Cores)
-2x Memory cards (4GB DDR3 RAM each) (8GB)
-Gigabyte GeForce GTX 550-Ti 1GB
-Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit (no service packs, up to date)
-Resolution: 1366 x 768 (59 Hz)
-Game graphics set to maximum + FXAA from Nvidia (the framerate improves slightly if I set them to lowest and disable FXAA, but otherwise the game still stutters and the camera is still delayed, like I said, the frame rate isn't the issue)
-I have all the Store items from games4theword (<3) + around 1GB of other custom content (.package).
-I haven't disabled DEP, since the game stopped crashing due to memory limit after Late Night, and I'm running the game as Admin.
The PC is well maintained and runs as good as it can. GPU temperature never goes above 49 degrees Celsius, no over-clock or anything. I reinstall / update the drivers once every week (actually even more often than that, due to that stupid Skyrim frame rate issue).
Any ideas on how to make this crap game run better (besides taking control of EA and Microsoft, I'm not in the mood to do that right now)?

Hahaha admin!!!
I suggest that you remember that Ea does not discriminate for different pc specs and runs like $hit on all platforms!
The first sims, slow
Sims 2, slow
Sims 3, hella slow.
Sometimes my cas is slowed by like a minute and I have way above minimum specs, but I got it FOR FREE from G4TW so I deal or I don't play it
Also core mods slow my game up so try removing those first.
Ps
Even sims free play for the iPad is slow!
Damn you EA

The Sims never ran poorly. The Sims 2 only lagged when fast forwarding, and I tried 'em on several PC's...
Anyway, I have a few car mods and all the Store items. That's it. Nothing else.
I don't have Sweet Treats, but I know stuff packs usually fix all the issues the game had up to that point (smart EA, smart). Does Katy Perry Sweet Treats fix anything or just make you wanna have diabetes?

Hi there,
Well, it's not the expansion pack itself that fixes the issues, I think, it's the latest patch, version 1.34.
First remove all your Mods, Custom Content and any other extra stuff you added to the game.
After that, follow THESE instructions very carefully to get the latest version of the game. You may skip step 1.
Good luck!

Tried already. I always keep the game up to date.
Anyway stuff packs always fixed stuff that the same version patch did not. Marketing s**t.

Message? I don't know, ''pach installed successfully''? Nothing unusual. Everything went smooth.

Hello,
I see, try these things:
- See whether your PC can actually run the game: http://www.systemrequirementslab.com/cyri/ (Just to be sure there's no compatibility issue)
- Try these possible solutions: https://games4theworld.forumotion.com/t4692-game-lag-possible-fixes
