Sims 3 Patch 1.34 issues

Now, I suspect I may have gone about this incorrectly, but hopefully there will be a magic fix that keeps me from needing to reload my entire game.

I own the base game, but I also have Ambitions, Generations and Pets installed using the Ultimate fix. I've never run into issues with it, and it's been a wonderful addition to my game. Recently, however, my launcher has been bugging me to update. Knowing my game is cracked, I was apprehensive, as I wasn't sure how to go about it. Finally, I decided to just re-crack my game using the fix downloaded here, and when prompted to update, I used the 1.34 patch you guys provided as I was getting the "invalid file" error message. Everything seemed to work fine at first, but I immediately noticed my game is running a LOT slower than normal, and after playing for more than 5-10 minutes, it crashes (I receive a "The Sims 3 has stopped working...Windows is attempting to figure out the issue, etc. message).

Is there any way to go back to the previous patch? It was running perfectly before I decided to update.

Sounds like an incompatible Mod issue. Do you have any Mods or Custom Content?

The only content I have installed is from the community store. And I know this is a stupid question, but what's a mod?

A Mod is a little script (usually in .package format) that adds extra features to your game.
Please remove all "extras" and restart the game.
