WHERE HAS MY SIM GONE :(

This has happened twice now with two different sims families 
Everything is fine when I first create and play the families. The problem occurs when I loads the household again. One of the sims completely disappear. Where have they gone and why is my game doing this all of a sudden

Hello,
Sometimes sims go "missing", you can use a mod to attempt to recover them. Note that, at this point, you do not want the latest version of the mod. Grab the one for game version 1.31-1.36, not the one for 1.38.
The process is automated, but you can also activate aspects of the mod from the city hall building.
