Hello,
I don't know about Asus and Netgear, but I personally LOVE Ciso Linksys, because of their free support (even a chatbox on the website!) and their product quality. I'm boycotting Sitecom since a year or so. Their quality is crap and their support may be even worse than EA's...- OK, maybe a little bit betterthan EA, but still it's one of the worst "customer" support I've ever seen.
Anyhow, the range really depends on your own personal situation. How far from the router do you want to use your laptop/PC, do you have thick walls and stuff like that.
If you set up a Cisco Linksys router, I may be able to help you tweak it for increased range. Linksys' free chat support helped me do that.

Definitely the Linksys Router. As stated by Admin, the support is the best and the hardware itself is well made. Cisco is the only way to go for routers.

Hello,
Woaah, 150m?(!) I think you'll need a professional router for that kind of range and (high) speed.

Hello,
That depends on the router model, so I can't tell for sure. The average cover is about 10-30m . But 30m is really in an ideal situation. (No walls etc) Do not expect too much range.
Yes, you could use a range extender, but you'll need a few, if you want to reach 150m, lol.

If you're using cable of connection, should be no issue with the range. But if you're using Wireless connection, you should buy another router to work as AP .
Asus also provide very good hardware. RT 66u should be able to connect with and external HDD and download torrent just like NAS. Some more it can download file from any site (Not torrent = Normal Download) even you shut down your PC>

And Hey just one last question admin
How can we connect two routers with each other for WLAN gaming?
Can we connect the other adapters with one another to create a WiFi Hotspot in my home block??????????
And what will be the approximate cost of this set up??
//EDIT
And i`m thinking of using 5 to 6 range extenders or required!!

How about laying a cable from you main Router to your wifi router? Cheaper... better.

You can only connect one router to a modem. I don't think it's possible (and don't recommend) to connect routers to each other.
And I can't really give you a price indication, because it depends on your configuration and where you live. (I don't know your local prices)
