Supernatural be trippin' [SOLVED] Empty Supernatural be trippin' [SOLVED]

1. Install The Sims 3 and all expansions you like, but install AT LEAST one of the following expansions: Supernatural, Diesel Stuff, Katy Perry Sweet Treats, Showtime, Master Suite Stuff, Pets, Town Life Stuff, Generations.*
Installed Sims 3 + Supernatural.

(You may skip all the "# Crack" folders. You DO NOT need to use any "# Crack" folders!)
Wasn't going to do that anyway..

2. After you've installed all the games you want, download and apply this manual patch: https://games4theworld.forumotion.com/t1870-can-t-update-the-sims-3-to-v133-fix-manual-patch
Took a very long time to upload that file, and felt unnecessary because it was already at that version, and even gave me a pop-up saying something like, "You already got this, you sure you want to do it again." But I still did it anyway. I was like yeah, overwrite it or whatever, just to do it EXACTLY like the directions said.

3. When it finished updating your game to the latest version, re-download the latest version of our Ultimate Fix: https://games4theworld.forumotion.com/t752-the-sims-3-ultimate-fix-should-fix-most-of-your-problems
Easiest part imo.

4. Open the "# Crack" folder in the Fix and drag & drop the .exe and .dll file in there to: C:\Program Files (x86)\The Sims 3\Game\Bin and choose "Replace" on the pop-up that appears, telling you the files already exist in that folder.
I put them both inside, making sure it was in the right place, but only the .dll gave me the replace option.

5. Start the game and... ENJOY playing!
It did start the game, but when I got to the full screen New Game sort of screen, it was all like, "Disc Authorization Failure. No game disc found! Please insert The Sims™ Supernatural disc before proceeding." Then I was like, "WHY?!?!?!?"

So what did I do wrong?

Seeing Windows only asked you to replace the .dll file, can you please post a screenshot of where you copied the crack to?

I was just following the link that was supplied in that post. Idk, maybe you should fix that link.

I solved my own stupid problem by uninstalling errythin', and deleting all files. Reinstalled Sims + g4tw's version of Supernatural, which was sort of pissin' me off because it'd pop up with an error at first, until I decided to extract them all to a random "New Folder" and run it from there. Which I wouldn't know to do (because it was nowhere in the guide) if I hadn't had to do it this past week for some very large and seperated CC.

TL;DR = Solved the problem I probably created.

Heh, yeah that would be kinda misleading, should change to the Sims 3 downloads rather then just downloads.

The Follow are two that should be changed, maybe more, but haven't looked at it anymore.

Extracting them to a random "New Folder" shouldn't matter, just as long as they were extracted correctly.
