Sims 3 & mounting

Ok, so, I downloaded the sims 3 torrent and I read the instructions that come with it. I have Daemon tools lite. So I went to mount the two things it says to, The sims 3 start disk and The sims 3 disk 1. Whenever I mount it, it starts up the installation right away. Nothing else happens. This happens with both files. I don't think this is supposed to happen because it only lets me mount one? & I've looked up videos on how to mount and I'm doing it right, but I don't think it's supposed to start the installation.

So after it starts installing and asks for Disk 1, I can't find what I mounted. It's not there.
Am I doing something wrong..? I followed the instructions perfectly, but like I said, mounting it just leads to the istallation and I don't think that's supposed to happen..

First, Mount both Images. When the Installation asks for Disk 1, click 'Browse' and select óne of the two Mounted Images. If you get an error, just click the other Image you Mounted. When the Installation asks for Disk 2, do the same. The Installation should go on now.

That is my problem. I can't mount it. When I click to mount it, nothing happens other than the installation starting. Nothing gets mounted. I've watched multiple videos and I know I'm doing it right. It just doesn't happen.

Try to use another mount software.

Well, it's good that the Installation starts automatically right? Just follow the steps in the Installation Guide, during the Installation. When the Installer asks for Disk 1, read my description above.

Ok, so I got another mounting program. This one worked and everything got mounted correctly. However, when I get to the part of the installation that says please insert Disk 1, I find the mounted file and click it. But it only comes up as :"K:" and then it says
"Setup could not find a file on the specified path or disk. Please check that the proper disk is inserted or specify a new path"

Okay, If something like this pop up.
Follow this step:

1) Delete your SIMS 3 exciting folder.
2) Re-Extract your SIMS 3, (Winrar)
3) Try do the installation.

P/s: Look like you deleted something in that folder.

Don't select the "SIMS3" drive, but the "DISK 1" drive. Scroll up and down in order to find it. (YOU SHOULD HAVE IT MOUNTED OF COURSE)

Someone who can give me a good mount software? A name or something - before I get one. And I will not hear about Deamon tools, another one please

Well, you can use a lot of software for Mounting, but I think that Daemon Tools Lite is the easiest one. You can use it as described in our free Mounting Guide. (See www.games4theworld.org > All our Downloads)
