Updated 1.42 before looking around google..HELP :(

I updated my sims game to 1.42 version...and it won't load. I didn't know that I shouldn't have done that until I started looking on google. When I tried updating through the launcher it wouldn't work so I manually downloaded it. Afterwards, all of the expansions that I have downloaded online didn't work. I uninstalled everything last night and reinstalled the sims, updated it through launcher and installed expansions. Won't load. Shouldn't have listened to my friend -.-. I've seen on here that someone will release the update when it works..? Something like that.. Is it possible to get rid of the update or do I have to get rid of everything again and just wait? Also, if I can get rid of the update, can I still use expansions until you guys come out with the update?

No, there's no way to downgrade your game, unless you remove all the The Sims 3 games and then restart your PC and reinstall everything, without updating to 1.42 yet.
But I recommend you wait just a little bit more.
