Seasons Update Help!

Hii there. I downloaded all sims games except the base game from G4TW, and today my mom surprised me with seasons! Any way I tried
Installing it but it said I needed to update my other sim game. I went to update it and there was an error. I was wondering if there's a new update or something? The last thing I downloaded from you guys was Supernatural and it works perfectly fine.

Do the Manual patch for 1.42 then try to install Seasons.
