Problems downloading all expansions (have read through most guides)

I'm new to torrenting so please, bear with me.

I downloaded the sims 3 (base) and installed high end loft stuff (the base is a more recent version and it said I should update- but I know I have to do that later)
I tried this once before, but I got stuck because they said the base wasn't "updated" enough to install more EP's.


Could anyone help me/ tell me what torrents to use and directions to get all the EP's + SP's downloaded without
having to do it all over again?

Do I just put the ultimate patch-fix thing on now, or is there something else I must do?

Since Installing expansions can happen in any order, normally recommend either doing the Latest Expansion, or just the manual patch for the latest version, so you won't have to worry about base game not updated enough for the Expansion your adding, which will probably happen several times, and take a lot of time, instead of just doing it once at the beginning.
