Stay in 1.39 version

Is there any way to stay in 1.39 and not to update to 1.42? I'm really tired of the game crashing, so I won't play Seasons until EA fixes that.

If you're already on version 1.42, the answer is no.
If you haven't updated yet, just use the manual 1.39 patch and then never patch again.

If you've already updated to any version higher than 1.39, I'm afraid you'll have to remove the game completely and then reinstall anything and follow the steps described above.

Ok. New problem now:
I installed the base game, World Adventures and Diesel. I used the superpatch 1.39 but the launcher keeps asking me for the WA disk.
Do you happen to know why is that?

I did this:

1) Installed Base game
2) Try to install Diesel but it says my game is not compatible, so I updated to 1.39 using the 1GB superpatch
3) Installed Diesel
4) Installed World Adventures
5) Put crack in base game folder

And still it asks for the CD
Am I missing something?
I only want this ones for now, so... In case I want to install the rest later, what should I do?

But the ultimate fix is for 1.42, right? And I want to play with 1.39

Actually you can go back to 1.39. But just if you have it saved. All you have to do is open the file and that's it. I did it.

The thing is that if I only play with base game and Seasons, it runs perfectly. But when I installed the rest that is when it crashes all the time.
So yes, I'm going to keep the 1.39 version until somebody fixes that.
