missing icon on the sims 3 downloads

Hi! I have downloaded cc from thesimsresource a long time now and it have worked perfectly. But suddenly the icon is missing from my downloads and when i click them they cant find a program alas i cant get them into my game. sound familiar? hope somebody can help me

thanks for answering :)i tried that.. the launcher opens but nothing else happens! this happened after I installed the sims 3 season.. dont know if that is the reason though

What do you mean, nothing else happens?
What if you click on the ">" (play) icon? Does the launcher close?

I can play the game and everything and the launcher opens but i cant get downloaded items into the game because the icon is missing from my downloads :p

The item does install, but it just won't show a thumbnail (preview) of the item?

It should just open with the launcher. Two things you can do:

1. Double-click it and choose a program to open it with. Open it with the The Sims 3 launcher, found in: C:\Program Files (x86)\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\

OR

2. Copy all the .Sims3Pack files you want to install to this folder: Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Downloads\ and then open your game's launcher and navigate to the "Downloads" tab. Click "Select all" and then "Install".

the launcher opens, but nothing happens. When i put the downloaded items in the download file, the items doesnt appear in the launcher.. merry christmas btw!

Do the items appear in game? There is a known issue that sometimes items that aren't showing as installed in the launcher are in fact installed in the game. If this is what's happening to you then I'm afraid there isn't much you can do about it as a fix hasn't been found yet.

as far as i know, the items does not appear in the game. I think i will re install all my games and try again - this didnt happen before I installed the sims 3 seasons:p
