Problem: Seasons not compatible with Sims 3?? [CLOSED]

Hi guys,
I'm about ready to throw my Macbook Pro out of the window!!
Have tried everything. Reinstalled everything!! I have an original Sims 3 disc and everything else is downloaded from here.
Anyone any ideas?
