Pastime Empty Pastime

Post by Guest Sun 06 Jan 2013, 11:53

What would you say your favorite pastime is for your sim to do and why? I almost would say writing books but I can't "read" what's wrote in them lol. I've always wanted to write a book with many ideas here and there but never really did it. So I say my favorite pastime for my sim is painting. I've not been much of a painter but I can draw and I can see what my sims drawings are Very Happy

The last few days I've just let them go autonomously 100% (running it as a test on another computer, just to see what happens) .. but I think I'm going to cut that out because I think my created sim (married to a stock sim, no kids/pets) is starting to have a thing for the butler and she doesn't want to lose her "Eternally Faithful" buff o.O

lawl. Last time I let a sim in my house go auto., someone starved to death. I have 2 fridges, 3 bars, a wood oven, a grill, and everyone in the house had at least 1 conjured apple in their inventory.
I just wish i'd seen how they starved first hand and ima need to catch a sim die and get the painting of the grim reaper What a Face
Edit I attempted to get Eternally Faithful with my main sim. A thief broke into my house. I didn't have an alarm. Well the cop came to talk to me. Then we had our first kiss. Someone is playing cupid in town lol.

I guess it depends on the sim. And what he or she needs to advance. I don't usually let them do something that doesn't serve an extra purpose. Sims that watch tv, watch the cooking or gardening channel. They paint, but writing, no, because they don't have fun writing.

Both of my sims have the "Hardly Hungry" reward. One is a vampire and the other (fairy) is a chef. I'm thinking it'd take a while for them to die from starvation. However, they've been in this house I built for them maybe 1 year in-game (28 day year) and the first butler died. I'm not sure what exactly happened, he went outside to pick up some clothes by the hot tub, then it looked like he was electrocuted. Was kinda funny, had a couple people in the hot tub (we were throwing a party) when it happened but they were fine. Maybe that's how they'll die? I've heard of spontaneous combustion, but spontaneous electrocution is a new one to me.

I like having my sims garden and cook. I also make them max out their logic and handiness skills pretty early if I can.

That's hilarious.

I've been too frustrated to play properly and have been way too distracted with other things in the game. Like how buggy it is and the horrible graphics. I spent more time trying to fix problems than play.

IF I had "pastime" I don't know what I'd do.
