TS3 Keeps chrashing

Hi guys. So here's what's up. I posted a few days ago about my game crashing. Well since it hasn't been working right... then I thought I fixed it earlier this morning, until just a few minutes ago.
Been fighting with the game for days, and have done the following things:
Added all .exe to DEP
Now playing with no mods
deleted all caches, thumbnail files, etc.
renamed /./Electronics Arts/The Sims 3 to /./Electronic Arts/The Sims 3 Backup
allowed game to play with 4GB instead of 2GB
Windowed Mode

Early this morning the game was working great. I was actually able to build/furnish a house and play in live mode and save a few times. Then I started a new world, Appoloosa (w/e) Plains, and decided to go into edit town mode first thing... and then it crashed again. Just saying "The Sims 3 has stopped working".
In my previous post, I said I was playing with only a selection of EP's, and now I've got them all installed, fully patched, and have no CC.

What could be causing the problem? How can I fix this?

Thanks, but that wasn't much help. I did however grasp from your link that my problem most likely definitely has something to do with seasons... Crashes for me occur at such random moments I'm not sure what I need to fix in the game. I've had crashing when: saving sim, working in CAS, saving game, entering live mode, during buy mode (especially when I access the Misc. Decor catalog.), and now when I enter edit town.

Hello,

It may just be "Sims crashes", when the game crashes for no apparent reason. It happens, unfortunately.

hello im new to this computer stuff but i have followed your step by step for the base game all the way to seasons and i have done the "fix every thing" but when the game opens and i choose a town to play it starts to load and 25% into the load it crashes and says sims3 has stopped working. what can i do to fix this?

:note: it states that it was do to an appcrash from TS3W.exe. i have arleady done the whole changing the files from exe to DEP. still happens.? Crying or Very sad

You're at patch level 1.47?
Have you tried these possible solutions?
