my sims crash/shuts down or stop responding only when changing clothes trough dresser or makeupstation

idont know what is wrong when playing sims everything works perfect except when im trying to change my clothes, makeup and hair trough either dresser and mirrow or that makeupstation then after awhile it just shuts down and says the sims have stopped responding, and its soo frustrating-.- anyone know a fix or solution for this?

no i removed all that and have reinstalled the sims 3 so many times now but the problem doesnt go away:( ihave used diffrent kinds of programs like dashboard, repairutility for the sims 3 but that doesnt help either.

yes also have that:) idont know what the problem is, i have also used patchdownloader and updated patches it found there....idont really know what to do:/ the game works perfect as i said...until iwanna try and change clothes hair and makeup, it doesnt shut down right away...but after awhile when trying to do that.
