Sim City 4 Empty Sim City 4

Post by Guest Tue 19 Feb 2013, 18:23

Hello!

I didn't know where to ask this, I tried to e-mail you but it told me to go here so I did.

I've just dowloaded Sim City 4 from your TPB account and installed it. I followed the installation guide like usual. But now when I'm playing it, it crashes after about 5 minutes? Every time? Really weird since it works fine while I'm playing it.

Please help!

Hello,

Sorry for the late reply!
Do you get an error when it crashes?
If not, try GameBooster, please: www.iobit.com/gamebooster.php

That's ok..

I've already tried Game Booster. And I've tried reinstalling like a hundred times. (read about a bunch of solutions from this forum and on Google)

I don't get an error or anything, it just closes down. And everytime it takes 5-10 minutes before it does, so I don't get a chance to play.

I also tried this: http://www.wikihow.com/Stop-Sim-City-4-Crashing , but I couldn't follow step 4 since my computer didn't allow it. Don't know what the problem is with that..

So now I just uninstalled it and gave up hope haha. Smile

Of course it can. Like I've said before, it runs without any problems. It starts very quickly and when it "crashes", it only takes a second for it to close down.

But I guess I'll wait for SimCity 5 instead.

Hello,

I can do the suggested method for you via TeamViewer, if you like. Just contact me via the Forum's Chatbox when you see me online on the Forum.

Meanwhile try running the game in Windows XP SP3 compatibility mode. (Right-click on the .exe file and then navigate to the "Compatibility" tab)
