Sim city 5

Anyone here played sim city 5? I was wondering if it were true that you need to have internet connection to play the game. Sad if you do cause I don't have internet.

LOL!!!!! I realize that but was just wondering as i had heard you do.

there's a SimCity 5? i thought they were going to reboot the entire series and instead call it SimCity 2013 which obviously by the name would be released next year.

I think it will just be called SimCity, without the 5 or 2013. That what it says on their site anyways.

Will be out the 5th of march. Apparently this is going to be a good one, but lets wait and see.

There is a closed beta that you can sign up for, not sure if they have started it up yet.

Im extremely excited for this.
I never liked the other SimCity's but then again, i never really liked any of the Sims back then either.
But this one looks so good, ive been keeping up to date with the videos on youtube.

according to the creative director and all the information in the beta forums, you MUST be connected to the EA game servers to play the game and there will be no offline mode

I've been playing the beta since it started on Friday.. It's a lot of fun. I can't wait til it comes out in March, so I can play around with all of the stuff.. Even if I have to buy it...

I hope I don't have to though.

will run from 5:00 PM (PST) to 9:00 PM (PST) on Wednesday, February 27.

players as possible to log in and push our servers as hard as possible."

Just got done playing that beta for 4 hours... Didn't get up for
anything, once! LoL! It is a lot of fun, so many buildings are so
customizable, I love it..

Althought, I do not think this is one we'll be able to pirate at all.

i had signed up for the beta never got an invite but i did receive an email thanking me for trying it out lol

The reviews about it being always online are TERRIBLE. The forums are exploding. Mark my words, this one will definitely be pirated. People are hella angry.

I heard/read the reviews as well.. Something similar to "error 37" in Diablo 3... But despite the terrible reviews of its online gameplay, the game in itself was really good though...
