Alias error

I downloaded the whole thing and followed every step and now I got to installing the Supernatural one and I made a DMG but when I click the installer I get an error about alias not found?

De alias 'Installatie van De Sims™ 3 Bovennatuurlijk.app' kan niet worden geopend, omdat het originele onderdeel niet kan worden gevonden

The alias Installation of The Sims 3 Supernaturals can't be opened because the original file can't be found

I have not installed any of the apps of that yet -_- Somehow the Installer fails I guess! And I do have the Original based game working though till showtime.. I just wanted to add these to it now

Looks like the installer can't find its files in the dmg.

Might want to try again, sometimes it gets corrupt

Okay so I need to create a new DMG and then click the Installer app thing again and then it should work?

Yes, should work.
Just to be sure you copied everything inside, don't forget to use CMD+A in the .rar

I did that now and I got one of them working. Do I need to re apply the crack.. Yes right?

Yes, you need to reapply the crack. I'd strongly suggest you don't apply the crack until the very last installation you want to do, including patch 1.67

And it is normal. The game will challenge your graphic card and only use 4GB no matter what. So you can try MacFanControl, it is a free app that can help

Okay So I need to install all the expansions I want and then reapply the crack and then use the patch.. I did already use the patch before or do I have to redo it again?

When all works is it possible to put the game on an external harddrive?

I don't want to say stupid things but I think you can't.
The game does need a system. At the very least you could, after installing the whole thing, is to put all the apps on an external hard drive. But that would leave your Documents/EA Games/The Sims 3 folder at its place, which does that a lot of place on your hard drive.
But that's only theory, I'm not sure it would work.

Okay. I just don't have the biggest harddrive in my Mac. But I think that i'll manage then! Already glad I got the game. The app is 26 GB at the moment..

Personally, I get picky with EP and SP I prefer to install.

I only install the EP.. not the extra download stuff. I want to keep it low as possible. Downloading the last one now and then I shall do the crack and patch for them  pretty excited to play it since I always played it on my Windows. Mac seems a little different

Patch had to do a lot of repatching I think LOL
