Having trouble with Sims 4 CC Hair? Solution here!
Hello everyone! *waves* I'm here today with some really exciting news: after recently having a problem a few people have been having - CC Hair not showing up correctly in game - I took to experimenting vastly with a few things to see if I could fix this annoying problem. And, after a fair few attempts, I have come up with a sort of solution (that worked for me, anyway.)
1. Make sure you have downloaded a CC hair and put it into your 'Mods' folder.
2. Open up TS4, and click the '...' in the top right corner.
3. Click 'Game Options'
4. Turn 'Laptop Mode' OFF.
5. Close and re-open your game (this setting needs your game to be turned off after so that it works correctly)
Laptop Mode is something that basically makes the game run smoother and faster on certain computers - I believe I did not do enough research when I was checking the Game Options when I got the game, and stupidly checked this box. This causes certain (MOST) CC hair not to work, showing up blue in colour on the AI panel, and all blocky and strange in game.
Upon un-checking this box, my three CC hairstyles I chose now show up perfectly in game, and on the AI panel. If you haven't un-checked this box, I would do it now if you want CC hair!
WARNING : Un-checking this box may cause your game to run slower than when it was in Laptop Mode!
So, I hope this works for you guys - let me know if it did

This fix is also useful for a number of other (smaller) in-game visual glitches. Thanks again for sharing this Darky23.

I know, right? It's annoying, you fix one problem, only to be rewarded another! This is the pain all us Simmers feel

Teehee, you're very welcome! Usually it's me searching for hours for fixes for games, I was surprised when I found out how to fix it myself.

I was wondering why the Hair was showing up looking like it had black or blonde highlights, not matter the style or colour I used Thank you for this it does cause a bit more slowness in the game but I think I can live with that as I have a good few hair styles in my CC.
