Sims 3 pets install - dillema

Hey guys! I was trying to install the sims 3. I followed the installation guide correctly, typed in the crack, etc... Just before the game finished installing, it came up with a message pretty much asking me to insert a "second" disc. I tried to find another disk image, but this was unsuccessful. I also tried to complete the rest of step 4, hoping this would help, this was;
drop the "TS3W.exe" and the "TSLHost.dll" in there to exactly:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Game\Bin (SO NOT THE EXPANSION'S INSTALLATION
FOLDER, BUT THE BASE GAME'S INSTALLATION FOLDER INSTEAD!!!)
When I tried to find the game bin on my original sims 3 install, it didn't exist for me. I have windows 7. I've tried searching these files on my computer, but I have been unsuccessful. I would greatly appreciate any help you guys could give me!

Hi! Thank you very much for that! I did successfully install it. Unfortunately, I have another problem (I completed all of the installation guide) and when I tried to open the game, the following message appeared; 'Unable to start. Please re-install the base game'. Yesterday, it loaded, and I selected my save game, and it never loaded past like 1 bar. Now it's not opening at all for me.

As well as this, I managed to download and install generations, just so I
could use the 'ultimate fix', followed everything perfectly, but the
same error occurred.

Please try as following:
*Backup your savegames

1. Completely uninstall The Sims 3 base game + Expansion(s).
2. Restart your PC.
3. Reinstall everything following EXACTLY these instructions: https://games4theworld.forumotion.com/t1171-must-read-how-to-install-the-sims-3-correctly
4. See if it works now.
