version 1.5.139.1020?

version 1.5.139.1020? Empty version 1.5.139.1020?

I would like to play a mod that requires either  1.25.136.1020, 1.26.96.1010, 1.27.80.1020, 1.28.25.1020, 1.29.69.1020 or 1.30.103.1210. I've downloaded the most recent update with toddlers and things seem to work ( for the most part anyway ) but when I click the file called Game Version in my Sims 4 folder, it says the version is 1.5.139.1020. 1.5 seems way off from any of the listed above. I know when I download the files from this site, I don't see an updated file for the Game Version file in the .rars. Even though the Game Version file says 1.5, should I ignore that? is it just the mod that isn't working in that case?

That is indeed odd. Are you able to run the game though? You can actually delete the .txt file if you encounter problems with loading the game.

You can safely delete GameVersion.
As soon as you re-start your game a new file will be created.
When that still is the odd version then there is something wrong.
