How can I install the sims 3 base game and all expansion packs on D drive?
Hi,
I downloaded The Sims 3 ultimate collection.rar files. Are there any guides how to install the sims 3 base game (and all the cracks and updates) and all expansion packs in to the D drive? I really don't know how to do that and some help would be great. My C drive is almost full (15 GB left).
Cheers

Hello @RosesandSims,
In general, you have to create the folder for the base game plus all DLCs (on the D: drive) manually, and beforehand. And when it comes to the actual installation you have to select the correct installation path (again, on D: drive) in the custom installation options.
A more in-depth guide with example screenshots can be found here:

Good luck!

Re: How can I install the sims 3 base game and all expansion packs on D drive?
Hi,
Thank you for the quick answer! I installed the sims 3 on my D drive. But when the step comes when you have to open te file TS3_1.67.2.0240xx_update.exe to update your sims 3 into version 1.67, my C drive gets full because of the instalation of the file. I haven't enough space on my C drive to open the TS3_1.67.2.0240xx_update.exe file. What do I do?
Thanks for all the help.

Have you tried running the update.exe file from the D: drive, or even a USB-flash?

Re: How can I install the sims 3 base game and all expansion packs on D drive?
I have a problem with installing on my D: drive.
I have tried to install The Sims 4 on my D: drive with your tutorial. I tried choosing the folder on my D: map by clicking and changing the C to a D when installing but it still installs the game on my C: drive.
Is there a way to fix it because my C: drive is just too small.
