Warning version 1.40.61.1020. [SOLVED]

When you are using cracked Sims 4 + sims 4 via Origin/ZLOrigin in 1 folder, do not - at least for the moment - update to version 1.40.61.1020.
After this update in your cracked game you cannot open or play a new or played game.(error 3)

Thanks Tarac, so I am lucky that my internet is so extremely slow. Hope a fix is easily found, fully trust you guys to come up with a fix!

Of course you can still use the cracked version when you, before the update, copy your present install folder to another place on your computer.
Then let your old folder update via Origin/ZLOrigin, open the Game\Bin folder and copy Default.ini to the new location to prevent the "cannot start game update via Origin" error.
Will see what happens when a new crack for Jungle adventures is published.

the update has started, it reached 24 % after 6 hours before the internet bombed out and the download paused. Can I still do what you mentioned about the Default.ini?

When you open Default.ini you scroll abit down to the [Version] section and you see this

[Version]
gameversion = 1.40.61.1020
codeversion = 1.200.000.325
codechangelist = 3895653

then you can paste Default.ini into your cracked game folder.

The game then "thinks" it is version 1.40 whilst it still is 1.39

The 'fix' is eventually going to be us making the announcement for the new Gamepack...and posting the (cracked/offline) "Game"-folder for the new patch version.

I realize this is probably not the thread to ask this, but since it's related to the update, can anyone tell me how to re-enable updates on ZLOrigin? I inadvertently clicked the "x" on the update box for Sims 4 and it no longer shows the update.

Log in to ZLOrigin
In ZLOrigin, click on the word Origin (left-top of the menu)
Click on Application Settings
In Section General tick "Automatically keep my games uptodate"

OR
In ZLOrigin rightclick on the picture of the Sims 4 and select Check for update

Can the same be achieved by "repairing" the game in ZLOrigin? I remember something went wrong initially on my end; the downloads finished but they did not manage to install. The logo for The Sims 4 in the game library was then greyed out, but I repaired the game and got it working eventually.

As the question was about updates I answered as above.
And yes, Repairing the game will also install the latest updates but takes a bit longer.
