World map is blank Empty World map is blank

Help 
Everything was downloaded... All the newest updates etc and all in the correct order/way it said to do so... However, after creating a family and I go to the 'select a world to move into' screen, it's blank... There's no icons to select and hovering over where they should be doesn't show anything there... Please help. I've spent 12 hours sat here trying to find the game to download and once it was all done, this happens. WhatDidUJustCallMe?

Did you also download the latest update, the toddler stuff thingy? then try applying the fix as well. Found under Fixes. supplied by the Ghostmaster.

I believe so, yeah. I'll have to double check with the boyfriend as he's better at this stuff than me and he helped me download/install in so when he's awake, I'll ask and get back to you. Thank you. Smile

I had the same problem I applied the fix you suggested and everything works perfectly now!!! These guys who do that for us are the best!!

Or simply download THIS FOLDER GAME
Extract with Winrar, delete the existing folder Game and Game_ (if you have it) from your install folder
Then copy the newly downloaded folder Game to your install folder.

the game comes on perfectly and it lets me make sims without a problem. but when i proceed to move them into a house the select a world screen is white. i only have the base game and the base patch installed and some cc

i ran validator and under missing files it listed a lot of stuff, but i went back in my files and most of those files are there. should i just reinstall the whole game?

Just post it here. Files listed as "missing" are not there. And I'm pretty sure those were DLC files since you said you have base game and patch only.

Delete those files:
game/bin/core/imageformats/msvcp100.dll
game/bin/core/imageformats/msvcr100.dll
game/bin/core/imageformats/msvcr100d.dll
game/bin/core/msvcp100.dll
game/bin/core/msvcr100.dll
game/bin/core/winhttp.dll
game/bin/python/deployed.zip
game/bin/rld.dll
game/bin/rldorigin.dll
game/bin/rldorigin.ini
game/bin/ts4.par

It may work fine now but you might want to update your game to the latest version. From what I remember G4TW no longer makes "base patches" so you can use patch from my repack. Just read "what to download" section.

And as always, if you're using script mods, check if there are any updates. If you're using CC and encounter some problems, use Sims 4 Studio's batch fixes.
