Sorry for the belated response,

I re-installed the game myself a few days ago, and indeed quite a few of these windows popped up. But after some point, that "introduction" was over and it let me proceed to playing the actual game.

If for some reason you get stuck (if I'm right with understanding you all), then try some of the tips I mentioned in the other post here:

Good luck for now!

P.S. as a sidenote, I'm happy to see that interest in the older Sims games still is present, a bit (despite the highly-overrated TS4 being all over the place).

Hi! Already found a solution for the problem. I tried digging up on previous threads and found this: https://www.games4theworld.club/t24310-sims-1-complete-collection-keeps-loading

Worked for me. It's been a while since I last played the OG game and I thought of playing it again for old times' sake. I agree too, TS4 is so mainstream despite it being a great game. Thank you for the response tho. I really appreciate it.
Good job! The Sims Plumbob 1

Ah, thanks for the insight!  Very Happy  I'll try digging into the issue myself, and then see if I can come up with a tutorial on that too.
