Sims 3 Ambitions error message

Okay, So i have never installed a game this way before so i followed the instructions it didnt work cuz it wouldnt update, then in a topic i seen it said not to CRACK it untill after you update. So i uninstalled all my games and reinstalled them once again, i have retail copys of Sims 3, Sim 3 World Adventures, and High End Loft Stuff. I updated them all as i installed them. Then i Installed the sims 3 ambitions, first i updated then i restarted my computer then i put the cracks in, first on the sims 3 ambitions bc i seen in another thread that if you are using the retail version of sims three to skip the crack3 i figured that meant to not crack the sims 3 game, and to only crack the sims 3 ambitions. Then i tried to start it up again and it gave me a error stating that the launcher wouldnt load, so then i added the crack to the sims 3 bin and i am now getting this error message.

Okay tried to upload a screen shot but says file not vlaid and exceeded the attachment maxsize (0 KB)

error message says:It Looks like you have installed an unofficial game modification that does not match your current version of the sims 3. we recommend that you either uninstall these game modifications or get a updated version of them otherwise you may experience crashes or significant bugs.

How do i fix this?

First of all, that you need to skip the steps where you have to apply the Updates from "Crack 3"; that's only for World Adventures!

As you may already have noticed www.games4theworld.org isn't working any more; this is because our Server is temporary offline, since I have problems with my router here. Also, most of the icons on this Forum are hosted on this Server, so you may find it annoying that you can't see a lot of icons.
The problem will be fixed somewhere in next week (not later), as the router is going to be replaced. (Expected replacement date: 2-09-2010)
Also, this means NO Download links hosted on www.games4theworld.org will work.


I apologize for any inconvenience and I hope you all understand,.

Sorry for this difficulties. We at here , working hard to solve the problem with router. We believe , the problem can be solved by the second of september.
I'll ask admin give you link from megaupload, if he already upload the fix at megaupload. Please be patient.

Okay after i added this fix i am now getting a error that says your the sims 3 base game is incompatible with the current sims 3 expansion pack. Please update your game via the game launcher.

Then i click okay

and it just sits there loading.....and loading....and loading......untill finally i have to just right click and close because the X wont close it and it is just loading. is there a fix for this?

Okay i got the game to load by using the Sims 3 icon, and not using the
sims 3 ambitions icon? I dont know how long it will work for, atm but i
am testing it out. Also it says there is a update availabile but when i
try to update it still gives me and invalid file error. It says on the
lower left hand side of the launcher i have version: 1.14.11.007001 and
on the launcher is says Get the latest game updates here there is a box
you check and next to that it says

Sims 3_4.2.32.007001_from_4.0.87.006001.exe

1. Uninstall all The Sims 3 games.
2. Restart your PC.
3. Reinstall The Sims 3.
4. Reinstall WA.*
5. Reinstall HELS.*
6. Reinstall Ambitions.

8. The Game should work fine now.
